It’s still frosty outside, at least always when I go for a run. And at the moment that’s four times a week, about 30-40 weekly kilometres. Last week it was bright enough in the evening so i took my chance and ran home for the first time this year. I came home in the dark but at least I started in light conditions.
The 8.5 km route across the field was unusually lonesome. I really missed the other runners, bikers, farmers and birds crossing my way. I think I have to wait for the warmer season to get some company.
What about your running routes? Do you prefer the cold and lonely winter runs or the busy summer ones?
To get some alternation in my workouts I went rock climbing and playing squash which was challenging but fun. I didn’t do both for half a year now and now I really want to keep up with that (as I really need some routine for my arms because running doesn’t necessarily care for my arm musculature).
All you runners – how do you tone your upper body?
This week will be very busy because I’m gonna have a shooting in Austria and several small tasks to do (already had a small band shooting today which was fun!). Furthermore our event TEDxStuttgart (jay, it was so great! Thank you guys!) took place last week and now of course there’s some video work to be done. I’m gonna show you some of my talk highlights as soon as they are on youtube!
